South Christian ran out to an 11-point halftime lead (34-23) and held on to beat rival Grand Rapids Christian 62-54 Saturday in a division two district championship game.
The Sailors (17-2) advance to play the only team that beat them this season, Grand Rapids Catholic Central, on Tuesday at South Christian in the regional tournament.
