Detroit Tigers 2021 first round draft pick Jackson Jobe made his debut in West Michigan on Saturday. The Oklahoma native started for the Whitecaps and pitched through five innings. Allowed four hits, one run and struck out three batters.
The Whitecaps earned a 3-1 win against South Bend to end the day. They'll finish the series against the Cubs on Sunday at 2pm.
