(WXYZ) — The Red Wings signed forward Robby Fabbri to a three-year contract extension on Monday.

The deal has an average annual value of $4 million.

Fabbri, in his third season with Detroit, has 14 points (eight goals, six assists) in 28 games.

Fabbri's eight goals this season ranks fifth among Red Wings goal-scorers.
