GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The victim in a shooting Friday night on Grand Rapids' southeast side has died.
Twenty-nine year old Tony Lamarr Stewart, of Grand Rapids, died at an area hospital with his family by his side. While the official cause and manner is not confirmed at this time, GRPD Major Case Detectives will continue investigating the death as a homicide.
In addition to investigators, the victim's family pleads for anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact the Grand Rapids Police Department or Silent Observer. Of particular interest is anyone in the area of the Franklin Street and Dallas Avenue around 9 p.m. Friday evening.
