After a gorgeous Halloween day with nothing but sunshine, the evening for trick-or-treaters will be a bit more wicked.

The wind will increase steadily today, but become strong in the evening. Sustained winds will be between 15-25 mph with gusts 35-45 mph. These would be strong enough to pull off pieces to a costume or even some Halloween decorations that aren't secured.

Even though the wind will be scary, the weather will actually be quite nice tonight. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s with clear and dry conditions. The only problem with the strong winds and cooling temperatures is wind chills dipping down into the upper 30s.

The wicked wind will continue all night into Sunday. It will actually become a bit stronger on Sunday, with gusts up to 50 mph possible. The strongest winds throughout the weekend will be along Lake Michigan, where a wind advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. tonight to 8 p.m. Sunday.

One other spooky thing happening this evening is the Full "Blue" Moon! It will add to the aesthetic of Halloween night and remain full until the clouds block us from seeing it overnight. It is called a blue moon because it is the second full moon of October.
