WEST MICHIGAN — Sticking snow returns to West Michigan Monday evening and goes into Tuesday! Winter Weather Advisories go into effect for the entire area from 7 P.M. Monday through 4 P.M. Tuesday. Yet again, a huge system is not on the docket but one that is likely to be one of our biggest of the season thus far.
Snow will be developing from south to north during the early evening hours and will reach Grand Rapids by late evening. Snow can be heavier at times overnight into mid-morning Tuesday then trend lighter Tuesday afternoon.
A general 2-4" of snow can be anticipated. Amounts will taper to an inch or two heading northward from Grand Rapids.
Bottom line, anticipate slippery driving and snow-covered roadways at times from late Monday evening through Tuesday afternoon. Take it easy out there folks!
