WEST MICHIGAN — Most of the appreciable rain is over across our area, but not before many locations picked up about two inches this weekend. Other locations were between an inch and inch in a half. See our graphic below where radar is estimating the rainfall. Everything in yellow is about two inches of rain, while everything else in green is a bit less. A widespread soaking to say the least. We've also included a few cities with totals.

We even recorded a few thunderstorms across the area from this system, but nothing severe. The other component to this system was wind. Strong winds in excess of 50 mile per hour were measured in spots here in West Michigan. Take a look a our peak wind gusts below across the area. The numbers represents gusts in miles per hour. Grand Rapids recorded a peak gust of 54 mph. Benton Harbor 51 mph. Quite strong!

Winds will continue to remain breezy overnight and through Monday. Temperatures will also remain below the next few days, but gradually warm into the 50s by Thursday and beyond. Get the complete West Michigan forecast at www.fox17online.com/weather.
