GRAND RAPIDS — GRAND RAPIDS — The forecast from FOX 17 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Craig: Most of this upcoming work week will be on the quiet side. While our chances of rain/snow are not zero, they are fairly low. We have a chance for some light snow showers or flurries on Wednesday and some snow showers overnight Thursday into Friday morning. No big storms are on the horizon at this time, except for next week Sunday/Monday when a much stronger, bigger system arrives with rain/snow chances and sharply colder air by Tuesday. Unfortunately, our temperatures will be running below normal most of this week in the mid/upper 30s.

This Evening/Overnight: Mostly cloudy and breezy. Dry and quiet. Lows around 30. Winds west-southwest at 7 to 14 mph.

Tomorrow/Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and breezy. Chance of a few light snow showers or flurries. Highs in the mid 30s. Winds west at 10 to 20 mph. Wind chills in the 20s.

Thursday: Some morning sunshine, otherwise increasing clouds. Highs in the upper 30s. Winds west-southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with the chance for some light snow showers mainly in the first half of the day. Some afternoon clearing is possible. Highs in the low/mid 30s.
