WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Haleigh Vaughn: Scattered light snow showers are expected in West Michigan tonight with the small chance of a wintry mix at times. The region north of I-96 and east of U.S. 131 could pick up 1" to 2" of snow accumulation. The region south of I-96 will only see up to a light dusting. Thankfully, all chances for rain and snow depart by Tuesday! Your Tuesday will feature sunny skies with high temperatures in the lower 40s. A mix of sun and clouds are on tap for Wednesday with increasing clouds on Thursday. Our next system is set to arrive overnight Thursday and into early Friday morning. THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy. Highs near 40.

FRIDAY: A system develops bringing widespread snow showers along with strong winds. Highs in the lower 30s.

SATURDAY: A few flurries possible in the morning. Otherwise, mostly to partly cloudy. Highs in the middle 30s.
