WEST MICHIGAN — WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Reece Cole: Rain is expected continue moving to the east and southeast this evening. The heaviest of the rain has and will be north of Grand Rapids, where the driest conditions have been since mid June. Heat and humidity return on Saturday, with high temperatures in the middle 80s. The chance for a pop-up shower remains all weekend long, though most of West Michigan will stay dry for Saturday. Another system moves along the Michigan-Indiana border and some showers and storms will be possible across West Michigan Sunday late morning and lasting through the afternoon. Sunshine sweeps back in for Monday and Tuesday next week, along with the heat and humidity! High temperatures will be near 90 degrees next week. Another chance for rain arrives on Wednesday. TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with showers ending. Lows in the lower 60s.

SATURDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy and humid. A stray shower possible but most will remain dry. Highs in the low to middle 80s.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and muggy. A stray shower or thunderstorm possible in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 80s.

MONDAY: Partly cloudy. Hot and humid. Highs in the upper 80s.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny. Hot and humid. Highs in the lower 90s.
