WEST MICHIGAN — GRAND RAPIDS — The forecast from FOX 17 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Craig: Wednesday will be a bit warmer and more humid with partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. A a cold front with an upper level disturbance tracking from west to east Wednesday night night into Thursday morning will bring a good chance of showers and thunderstorms to the area. Then our next heat wave will commence on Friday and beyond with high temperatures at 90 or better through the weekend. Our heat index will likely be in the 98 to 100 degree range. Please be safe.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and warmer. Lows in the mid/upper 60s. Winds south-southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy to partly sunny, warmer, and more humid. Highs in the mid/upper 80s. South-southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph.

TOMORROW NIGHT: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the mid/upper 60s. Light south wind.
