Tonight's Forecast: Clouds thicken gradually. Some freezing fog possible

GRAND RAPIDS — WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Ty Shesky: The unseasonably warm temperatures will continue over the next several days with highs into the 40s. A weak disturbance could bring some drizzle or light rain on Christmas Day and Thursday, otherwise dry and quiet weather continues. Better precipitation chances arrive this weekend by Saturday afternoon/evening, which may transition with a rain/snow mix possible.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy this evening, but the clouds gradually thicken overnight. Some freezing fog is possible overnight, especially from Grand Rapids southward. Watch out for a thin film of ice Tuesday morning in these areas! Winds north/east at 5 to 10 mph. Lows in the lower 30s.

TOMORROW/CHRISTMAS EVE: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid 40s. Winds east/southeast at 6 to 12 mph.

CHRISTMAS DAY ( WEDNESDAY ): Mostly cloudy with the chance for some light drizzle or a light passing rain shower. Highs in the mid/upper 40s. Winds south-southwest at 7 to 14 mph.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with the chance for some light drizzle. Highs in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY: Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 40s.
