WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Meteorologist Reece Cole: On-and-off rain showers continue this evening and tonight. Parts of West Michigan currently fall under a MARGINAL RISK for severe storms this evening and tonight, which is the lowest risk. Strong wind gusts, hail, and heavy downpours are possible, although any severe storms will be very isolated and short-lived if they develop. Rain showers linger into tomorrow, with a few more thunderstorms possible. The system departs late Friday night, returning sunshine to West Michigan on Saturday. Aside from a stray possible shower overnight Saturday into early Sunday morning, your Memorial Day Weekend is going to feature plenty of sunshine! The forecast of mostly sunny skies extends into Tuesday and Wednesday, along with VERY warm temperatures. Sunday through next Wednesday will have high temperatures in the low to upper 80s. SUNDAY: Stray shower possible in the early morning. Becoming mostly sunny and warm. Highs around 80 degrees.

MEMORIAL DAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy and warm. Highs in the mid 80s.
