WEST MICHIGAN — GRAND RAPIDS — The forecast from FOX 17 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Craig: An upper level disturbance shifting through the area overnight will bring light showers and perhaps a thundershower to the area. Most of these showers will be wrapping up by Thursday morning. We expect sunshine to develop by the afternoon, but muggy conditions will remain. Our next heatwave starts on Friday with highs around 90 and into the low 90s this weekend.

TONIGHT: Cloudy and muggy with a few light showers, perhaps a thundershower. Lows in the mid/upper 60s. Northeast wind at 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower early, otherwise some afternoon clearing is likely. Warm and muggy. Highs in the mid 80s. North wind becoming northwesterly at 6 to 12 mph.

TOMORROW NIGHT: Becoming mostly clear. Lows in the low/middle 60s. Near calm wind.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, hot, and humid. Highs in the upper 80s to around 90°. Winds west-southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
