Fire units were still on the scene nearly two hours after being called to Hearthside Food Solutions on Shaffer Avenue Tuesday morning.

Employees were evacuated around 7:10 a.m. as Kentwood Fire Department units arrived at 3061 Shaffer Avenue SE. There was a fire, but information was not initially available on where in the building or how severe it was.

Apparently, no one was hurt.

Shaffer Avenue was open during the entire incident.
