Deer Busts Into House For Turkey Day Treat
Some Georgetown Township residents enjoyed a different kind of treat this Thanksgiving, a deer smashed through a window and trapped itself in a house.
Neighbors say they first saw the deer swimming across a lake, lost track of it, then heard a smash at the house across the street.
The homeowners weren’t home, but neighbor Larissa Frody says she found the deer inside her next door neighbors house.
“Their front door was smashed in and the deer was in the house. The deer was running all around the house smashing everything,” says Frody.
She says the deer finally managed to break through the back window and jumped off the deck. Eventually the deer swam across another lake and vanished.
“I was standing outside their front door and I was hearing the deer and watching it run back and forth smashing all their stuff. It was nuts.”
Another neighbor says the scene was the most bizarre thing she’d ever seen.
“At first I didn’t think it was real because I was like how can there be a deer in the house. Then I looked through the window and I could see him in the kitchen and he was jumping on the windows and trying to get out,” says Taylor Contreas.
The homeowners have been contacted and will access the damage.
