Veto Street Rape Suspect Pleads Guilty

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – One of the suspects in the home invasion and sexual assault case plead guilty to eight of the charges he was previously facing Monday afternoon during a status conference.

The suspect, 25-year-old Brandon Towns,was one of five arrested back on June 4, 2012 after a Grand Valley State University student was assaulted in a home on Veto Street NW.

Towns plead guilty to three charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of home invasion, three counts of armed robbery, and for being a repeat offender.
