Colts Win On Final Play of the Game, Top Lions 35-33

Andrew Luck is likely getting a few more nods for the NFL’s Rookie of the Year award after leading the Colts to a comeback against the Lions and winning 35-33.

Luck hit Donnie Avery on a 14-yard pass for the game winning touchdown on the final play of the game with zero seconds on the clock.With the win the Colts improve to 8-4 on the season, the Lions fall to 4-8 and lose any hopes they had of making the playoffs.

Detroit’s loss marked the fourth straight for a Lions team that had high expectations after making the playoffs in 2011.
