Car Hits School Bus; Students OK

HOLLAND, Mich. — A West Ottawa Public Schools bus was hit by a car near the schools, and the driver of the car was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.

The crash took place shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Riley Street west of 136th Avenue across from the West Ottawa Schools complex.

There were students on the bus, but they were not hurt.

    Shouldn't someone come up with an IQ/common sense test to go along with the driver's test. Some people simply do not have sense enough to be driving and especially not in these conditions.

    I still want too know why it is so Dammed hard too see a big yellow school bus slowed down or stopped in front of you! Same with any vehicles. In other words use your god given brain and pay attention too the road and conditions. It is not that hard too use your brain for anything. Enough Said!!
