ALLEGAN, Mich. –A man was shot after three men broke into his home.

At about 9 p.m. Sunday Night, the Allegan Police Department said three suspects broke into the home located at 204 Marshall Street and shot James Finch, 34, in the upper leg.

Police believe the suspects were looking to steal marijuana, because Finch had a grow operation in his house.

The police were able to obtain surveillance video of the robbers, thanks to two surveillance cameras located at the home.

The camera located on the front side of the home was able to catch all three of the suspects walking up to the house. The second camera, located inside the carport on the side of the home, caught suspect number one entering the carport when he noticed the camera. He then turned around and covered his face before attempting to disable to camera.  While suspect one was trying to disable the camera, a second suspect enters the carport and is clearly seen on the camera.

Police are still looking for all three suspects. They are believed to be armed and dangerous.

Finch is currently in the hospital in stable condition.

? did somebody make a comment that they didn't know what they were talking about. if he is truly a caregiver he should by law have documents proving that ,to put it very simply. If he had that and they took his med's and his patients med's then that is wrong. I do not have my hard card yet but I do have a copy of my application with a doctors signature and a receipt that I have for the letter I mailed to the state for my state certification. I have a caregiver and I know that he keeps all that stuff that he needs on hand at least his card that has a C on it saying he is a caregiver so he could legally have 72 plants growing , I'm not sure how much bud they can have on hand but I can have 2 1/2 ounces, I think that each caregiver can have 5 patients and can grow 12 plants for each of them and 12 for him self. so really there Is no reason that they haven't figured it out yet, I just feel bad for his patients , I personaly suffer from chronic nausea from gastro paresis and without my medicine I would be very miserable

I prefer to refer to my "grow operation" as a "herb", "food supplement", or "nutraceutical" "garden." The Allegan City and County public trust is responsible for making the "illegal sounding" false pretenses and libelous claims about what I do that should be HIPAA and MCL 333.2642 confidential information related and protected from disclosure to the public without my express written explicitly stated consent if they're claiming "medical marijuana". I never gave consent to anyone to make false pretenses or libelous frivolous claims. Like the anonymous user said above… I am a victim of what I am finding out to be a meth and cocaine cartel that is based in Allegan, Berrien, Ottawa and Menominee Counties.

I am a optimistic nerd that likes to trust everyone, is nice, caring, helpful, polite, used to be more well groomed, multiple degree'd and was more gullible to people who would approach me and offer for me to do things that I know are illegal and since I refused to do anything illegal… I am stalked by these psychotic schizophrenics that are trying to make me look like they are.
