MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. – A deadly shooting took the life a teenager in Muskegon Heights Thursday.
The Muskegon Heights Police Department tells FOX 17 News it happened in the 2400 block of Sixth Street at about 5: 00 p.m.
Witnesses at the scene tell The Muskegon Chronicle that multiple assailants ran up to a home and several shots were fired. The suspects then ran back to the car and took off.
Police have identified the victim as 19-year-old Kentae Jones. Jones was rushed to Hackley Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The Muskegon Heights Police Department is still investigating.
