WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — The end of days are not upon us, though an asteroid is expected to come relatively close to the Earth on Friday.
The asteroid, known as 2012 DA14, will come within 17,000 miles of our planet. This is closer than the orbit of most satellites and also closer than the moon is to Earth. According to NASA, there will be no impacts from the passing asteroid.
