GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – On Thursday, the City of Grand Rapids and the Grand Rapids Public Museum met to discuss the options for bringing a zipline to downtown.
FOX 17 News was told after the meeting that there is a “definite willingness and interest from both parties to bring the attraction here.”
The zipline could be placed at the Grand Rapids Public Museum’s Pearl Street location, next to the blue bridge.
They’re hoping to have the zipline up and running by this year’s ArtPrize.

This is a terrible idea. No one wants our downtown riverfront to look like a midway carnival ride.

Let's have a sense of creativity and adventure! Imagine how cool this would be with the rapids brought back to Grand Rapids, too!
