Man Charged With Montcalm County Break-ins

MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. – A 25-year-old Cedar Springs man was charged and arraigned on Thursday in connection with a series of thefts from October 2012.

Keith Allan Ames is suspected of being involved in six break-ins in Montcalm County as well as additional thefts in neighboring counties. The Montcalm County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police have identified and contacted all of the victims. Ames became a primary suspect after he was apprehended in Kent County on similar crimes.
Ames was arraigned on one count of breaking and entering into a residence. He is currently being held on a $15,000.00 bond and awaiting further court appearances.

      He is a kid that had a drug problem and he is the one that told the cops about all the bad things he had done. At least he is stepping up to the plate to take responsability for what he has done wrong
