MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. – Police and deputies in Muskegon County were busy Sunday chasing down a hit and run driver; and they caught him.
The suspect, a 36 year-old man, was driving a Chevy S-15 truck crashed in to a car on Holton Road, just off U.S. 31 around 4:15 p.m., ending a high speed chase, according to police.
Sgt. Patrick Herremans, of the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department says the driver got out of the truck and took off running, but another deputy caught up to the suspect and arrested him.
The chase started about 45 minutes earlier, according to Sgt. Herremans, near Eggleston Township, after the driver left the scene of an accident. The suspect reportedly led three different agencies on a high speed chase while blowing stop signs and red lights. Police stopped the chase several times because of safety concerns, but other drivers on the road called 911 to report the erratic driver.
Deputies say the suspect is currently in the Muskegon County jail, facing charges of resisting arrest , fleeing and alluding, and leaving the scene of an accident. The man also had prior warrants out for his arrest.
No injuries were reported.

Yes, he made a mistake. He will have to live with it now, but those of you making snide comments have no right to judge on something you do not know. Let me know where you got your criminal justice or psychology degree, because apparently you know everything about both.
