
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Former Mars Hill pastor, Rob Bell, will be returning to Grand Rapids on his national book tour to sign copies of his newly published book, “What We Talk About When We Talk About God”.
He will visit the Schuler Books store on 28th Street in Grand Rapids on March 10 at 2:00 p.m.
Rob Bell is a bestselling author, international teacher, and highly sought after public speaker. His books include The New York Times bestseller “Love Wins”, along with ‘Velvet Elvis”, “Sex God”, “Jesus Wants to Save Christians”, and “Drops Like Stars”. At age 28 he founded Mars Hill Bible Church in Grandville. In 2011 he was profiled in Time Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people.

Let's be fair here. Rob Bell WAS NOT "the founder" of Mars Hill Church. Mars Hill was a church plant from the Calvary Church located on the East Beltline in NE Grand Rapids. He was put in charge of the church at that time.

Rob wanted to start a new kind of church, Calvary gave him their blessing… not the other way around.
