SEFFNER, Fla. – A man who was swallowed by a sinkhole under his bedroom late Thursday night is presumed dead.
It comes after rescue crews using monitoring equipment detected no signs of life.
According to CNN, the victim cried out to his brother for help as the sinkhole opened underneath him. The brother tried frantically to help, but was unable to do so. Rescue crews had to pull the brother away from the edge of the hole.
According to officials on the scene, the diameter of the sinkhole is more than 100 feet, but it is all underneath the home. Other houses nearby have been evacuated as a precaution, and crews have determined that it is unsafe to enter the victim’s home at this time. If the ground buckles, the entire house could fall into the hole.

Wow, I think it's time to think Florida's going to fall into the ocean long before Cali.
