
MUSKEGON, Mich.– Muskegon Township Police are investigating after a group of Muskegon area corrections officers were allegedly attacked outside of a bowling alley over the weekend.
The incident happened on Saturday at Norway Lanes located at 1751 Evanston Avenue in Muskegon.
According to owner, a group of 6 or 7 young men approached the officers in the parking lot.The incident was caught on the bowling alley’s surveillance camera. The bowling alley is turning the video over to police to try to help identify the suspects.
The officers, who bowl in a league at the alley, work nearby. Their injuries are not believed to be serious. No arrests have been made at this time.

I read somewhere that a CO job has the potential for multiple, various injuries both physical and mental. But dang, who'd expect to be attacked at a bowling alley. Having had a few family members spend time in the pits I know there really are some good COs out there. Hope their injuries are short lived.
