MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. – Montcalm County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 34-year-old Riverdale woman on multiple fraud and theft charges Thursday.

Tabatha Rae Bartlett was arraigned on seven counts of forgery, one count of stealing a financial transaction device, and was charged as an habitual offender-fourth offense.

Bartlett is accused of taking checks and forging the signature of the account holder. The checks were passed at multiple locations in Montcalm and Gratiot Counties. The total was in excess of $3,500.00.
