GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police tracked down a suspect on the ground and from the air after the driver ran from a traffic stop. Police tell FOX 17 that a driver was pulled over in a lincoln navigator for a traffic stop and then proceeded to just get out and start running. A Michigan State Police helicopter just happened to be in the area and offered to help in the search. Police did locate the suspect  with the help of a K-9 officer in the area of The Roosevelt Park Neighborhood and an arrest was made.

The suspect told police he ran because he simply did not have a driver’s license.
