Kent County Updates List Of Road Closures

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — With record flooding, the Kent County Road Commission has been busy placing barriers and signs at a long list of locations where water prevents drivers from using the roads.

The commission released an updated list of closings, noting that some roads could be opened again as conditions change:

Southern Kent County

• 15 Mile from Stout to Shaner (impassable) access address 6610 from west and 6645 from east
• 19 Mile between Penny and Force (impassable) access address 11385 from west and 11470 from east
• Summit from 13 Mile Rd to 12 Mile Rd
• Tyrone Ave from 21 Mile Rd to 22 Mile Rd
• Division Ave from Fonger to 11 Mile Rd
