Bruce Rondon didn’t make the Tigers opening day roster, but on Tuesday night the rookie reliever will likely make his major league debut.
Rondon will be filling in for an injured Octavio Dotel Dotel has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with elbow inflammation.
Rondon has not allowed an earned run in seven games for Triple-A Toledo this season.
The Tigers host the Royals tonight at Comerica Park at 7:05pm.
