GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — People who are thinking about moving or looking for inspiration for home improvements can check out the Parade of Homes that kicks off Friday in Grand Rapids.
It features more than 60 houses from Allendale and Caledonia to Lowell and Rockford. The prices of the homes range from $150,000 to more than $1 million.
Also featured as part of the event this year is a “healthier home.” The 2,242-square-foot house is located in a Rockford development and includes building materials that reduce volatile organic compounds in the air and reduce mold and moisture.
The Parade of Homes runs through June 8. You can purchase tickets in advance for $10 at Option 1 Credit Union locations and online, and tickets not purchased in advance cost $12 for all parade homes. Buying a ticket will include admission to all parade homes and a copy of the Parade of Homes guide.
