GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A Grand Rapids family lost their pet ball python at a local KFC and posted on Craigslist Monday in hopes of finding her.

According to the Craigslist post, the family’s 10-year-old son left the 4-foot python in the car and believes it escaped through the cracked window while they were in the fast food joint.

What? Not even a thank-you note from the snake owners? Here's my craigslist reply to them yesterday:

We have two ball pythons and knowing them, I'd check the car very carefully. Under and up into the seats, etc. they like dark places. Hope you find her. http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/pet/3846116750….
