Griffins Prepare for First Home Game of Calder Cup Finals

griffins practiceGRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Thousands of hometown fans will flood the Van Andel Arena Wednesday night, as their Grand Rapids Griffins host the Syracuse Crunch in game three of the Calder Cup Finals.

Players, coaches, and fans alike have been sharing their excitement for this historic run for an AHL championship.  The Griffins have momentum on their side, carrying a 2 – 0 lead heading into Wednesday night’s game.

FOX 17 News will be live at the Van Andel Arena throughout the finals in each of our newscasts, so be sure to tune in for full coverage, and behind-the-scenes access.  Much of that coverage is available in the video player above.
