KENT CITY, Michigan. — Emergency crews responded to a minor ammonia leak on a farm Tuesday at 3509 18-Mile road in Kent City.
According to the Kent County Sheriff’s department the leak was reported shortly before 10:30 in the morning. According to workers on the farm the leak occurred in a refrigeration unit around 8:30 a.m. Several people were transported by private vehicle to a local hospital complaining of headaches.
