PLAINWELL, Mich. — Two people where found dead overnight Monday in a murder-suicide just north of Plainwell.
Allegan County dispatchers got a call reporting a gunshot around 12:19 a.m. The caller said a couple had been seen arguing.
The couple was identified as Cassaundra Pell, 23, and Robert Burnham-Pratt, 24. The pair lived together at the 10th Street address in Gun Plain Township.
The Allegan County Sheriff’s Department said the pair had been at a family gathering in the Pine Lake area Sunday and that they had been arguing when Burnham-Pratt left. Burnham-Pratt later apparently shot Pell and then shot himself.
10th Street south of 106th Avenue was blocked off by police during the investigation most of Tuesday morning.
