ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The death of 25-year-old University of Michigan medical student Paul DeWolf is being investigated as a homicide, according to Ann Arbor Police.
DeWolf, a Schoolcraft native, was found dead in his off-campus residence on Wednesday. The cause of death hasn’t been determined.
Police say an associate found DeWolf dead after going to check on him after he didn’t show up for an assignment at the veteran’s hospital in Ann Arbor. DeWolf was a third-year medical student and an active duty 2nd lieutenant in the Air Force. According to his Facebook page, he graduated from Grand Valley State University’s pre-med program in 2010.
