GREENVILLE, Mich. —  Greenville Middle School has won a $50,000 grant from the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools program. The school is one of only 12 in the nation to receive the honor.

The program is now in its second year, and Greenville Middle School was the only one in the state chosen for the program.

The program provides hands-on learning for teachers to integrate technology into their classrooms along with a $50,000 grant for the school.

Teachers went back to the classroom for some one-on-one learning with representatives to learn about this technology. Students will be allowed to bring their own devices to class and the school will be providing ones for students who need them.
