Man Shoots Firearm Inside Home, Leads Police On Chase

generic police lightsBARRYTON, Mich — A report of shots fired led to a police chase in Mecosta County.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, deputies went to Marion Street around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. They found out a 24-year-old man from Barryton had been fighting with his brother, then shot a gun multiple times inside the home.

He drove away, but officers pulled him over, then ran after him, tasered him and were able to make an arrest.
