GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A vacant three-family home was badly damaged in a brief fire early Friday.
Fire units were sent to 516 Gilbert Street SE around 4:30 a.m., and they did not take long in putting the fire out.
The windows were boarded up on the building, and firefighters had to rip out some of the boards in their work.
It’s still to early to know a cause.
