Charges Approved For 2 People in Businessman’s Killing
GRAND RAPIDS,Mich. — Charges have been approved for 2-people in the killing of a Grand Rapids businessman. John Dahlinger, was killed in his home on the northeast side of Grand Rapids in October.
Detectives have investigated the homicide since that night and developed two suspects in the case.
On Wednesday, November 20 the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office authorized arrest warrants for Danyell Thomas and Dijana Kilic .
Thomas was charged with Felony Murder, Open Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery, Assault with Intent to Rob While Armed, Felony Firearm, and being an Habitual Offender.
Dijana Kilic was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.
On November 21 Kilic surrendered to detectives at the Grand Rapids Police Department and transported to the Kent County Correctional Facility.
Thomas and Kilic are expected to be arraigned in 61st District Court at 1:30 p.m. on November 21
