BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One woman was killed and three other people were injured after a two-vehicle crash Friday in Bedford Township.
According to the Battle Creek Enquirer, a station wagon and minivan collided head-on at roughly 3:35 p.m. on Waubascon Road.
The woman driving the station wagon was pronounced dead at the scene. A young girl in the backseat of the car was severely injured and taken by helicopter to a Kalamazoo hospital. One of the two people injured in the minivan was also transported by helicopter.
The other person in the van was taken by ambulance to Bronson Battle Creek, according to the Enquirer.
Waubascon north of Morgan Road will be closed for several hours while police investigate the scene.
