Missing Portage Teen Found, Taken to Hospital

PORTAGE, Mich – A missing Kalamazoo County teenager has been found.

FOX 17′s Jennifer Dowling tweeted that 16-year-old Marissa Barry is being taken to a local hospital.  She was found leaning against a tree, according to her family.

She was conscious and talking when transported to the hospital, but family friends say she may be suffering from exposure to the cold.

Barry was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. on Thursday when investigators believe she left her home in the 1300 block of E. Osterhout Avenue on foot.

I Hope and pray she is alright and gets the help she needs. I really hope some fool did not take her away from her home and hurt her in anyway. It always sounds bad when they release a story like this with the way it is presented to the public. Being taking to hospital by ambulance found standing need to a tree. It seems that the media has to put some Stupid drama into it like they are writing a juicy book. The media have already put more stress on the girl because other kids will tease her for being on medication for depression and then write something like this.No they could not just write she was found safe and being taken to hospital to be looked at because she was out all night in the snow and cold.
