Applebee’s In Ludington Destroyed By Fire

AMBER TOWNSHIP, MI- A fire destroyed an Applebee’s restaurant early Friday morning outside of Ludington.

According to the Mason County Sheriff’s Department, The fire started around 4 a.m. Friday morning, when a passerby called 911 and reported the fire. When fire crews arrived on the fire had spread to most of the building.

The south east part of the building had to be demolished so fire crews could get to the fire. Officials believe the fire started in the kitchen area of the restaurant.

The restaurant was located on U.S. 10 near U.S. 31 outside of the city of Ludington.

There were no injuries reported and the fire remains under investigation.
