The National Weather Service issued a:

…WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM FRIDAY TO 7 AM EST SATURDAY…

HAZARDOUS WEATHER…
* WIND CHILLS AROUND 20 BELOW TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.
* STRONG WINDS WILL DEVELOP FRIDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. GUSTS OVER 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED.
* SNOW WILL FALL FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. GREATER THAN 6 INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE NEAR THE LAKE SHORE. UP TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE.
* BLOWING SNOW WILL OCCUR FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.

IMPACTS…
* TIME TO FROSTBITE FROM EXPOSURE TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY IS LESS THAN 30 MINUTES.

* DANGEROUS TRAVEL WILL OCCUR FRIDAY. WHITE OUT CONDITIONS WITH LITTLE TO NO VISIBILITY ARE EXPECTED. WORST CONDITIONS AFTER SUNSET FRIDAY.
* BLOWING SNOW WILL COVER TREATED ROADS…ESPECIALLY NORTH TO SOUTH ROADS IN OPEN AREAS.
