Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman Found Dead

Screen shot 2014-02-02 at 2.05.24 PM(CNN) — Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has been found dead of an apparent drug overdose in his Manhattan apartment, law enforcement sources said Sunday.

Hoffman, 46, was found in the bathroom of the fourth-floor apartment, the sources told CNN.

Hoffman won an Academy Award for best actor for the 2005 biopic “Capote.”

He also appeared in “Charlie Wilson’s War,” “Doubt,” and “The Master,” for which he was nominated as best supporting actor.

    I was so sadden to read about Philip’s very untimely death! Drugs do kill. How many talented men and women does this make?. His works will never be forgotten he will be greatly missed. RIP a wonderful actor. God bless his family.
