BIG RAPIDS, Mich – Authorities tell FOX17 a male suspect has been taken into custody following a police standoff situation near Ferris State University.
The suspect was arrested around midnight following an all day search for a shooting suspect that was involved in an off-campus incident early Saturday morning.
Authorities are in the process of scheduling a Sunday morning press conference to update the media on the arrest. People that were evacuated from nearby homes during the situation are now being allowed to return home.
