Last 2 Marijuana Dispensaries Raided In Grand Rapids

750px-MarijuanaGRAND RAPIDS, Mich (February 11, 2014) – Grand Rapids Police have raided the area’s last two marijuana dispensaries. Employees were arrested for intent to deliver.

Investigators confirmed that on Feb. 7 search warrants were executed for Purple Med on Plainfield Avenue NE and Natural Wellness on Taylor Avenue NE.

This comes after the Michigan Supreme Court ruled that dispensaries are not part of the Medical Marijuana Act that voters passed in 2008. It means that those who use medial marijuana can only get it from a single caregiver or grow the plants themselves.

There are almost 118,000 medical marijuana card holders across the state.

Marijuana and hemp made this country/built it. Why is it illegal? Because pharmaceuticals, cotton companies, fuel companies, alcohol companies, the list goes on. Basically they're proving that GREED runs this country, not what's right. Anyone that fools themselves into thinking we still have a democracy, I feel bad for. And for everyone's information, it was NOT the FEDS, and NOT Kent County, it was GRPD. The other two don't do raids unless you're really doing something stupid, because they're smart and view it as a waste of time and money.

    Don't you feel safer already?
Thank goodness our tax dollars aren't being wasted on real criminals.

Why is it that the eastern part of this goofy state has dispensaries thriving, while other areas are constantly being raided?

Why? This makes absolutely no sense. It’s a joke that dispensaries are raided in the first place but at least be equal opportunity idiots, not allowing certain shops but others.

I’m not in favor of total legalization over medical, but the silly politicians are so stupid they are creating a desire for such despite their trying to block the effectiveness of the medical marijuana program.
