Drugs, Weapon Confiscated Following Grand Rapids Raid
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (February 14, 2014) – Two people are in custody after a drug raid at a home on the northeast side of Grand Rapids on Valentine’s Day.
Officers with the Kent Area Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant that was obtained for a home in the 400 block of Benson Avenue to investigate suspected illegal narcotics activity.
The Grand Rapids Special Response Team assisted with the investigation, taking two people into custody without incident.
The following search of the home resulted in narcotics and a weapon being located.
The names of the individuals taken into custody haven’t been released yet. The Kent County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and determine whether or not any charges will be filed in the case.
